VD-INDUSTRY was formed in 2003 on the basis of a simple idea :

“Providing a solution for building companies in the field of fire-resistant glazed closures.“

At the time of its formation operations were limited to the engineering of fire-resistant glazed systems. But very quickly our customers requested us to supplement our range by the supply of the products, ready for fitting, accompanied by the fire resistance test reports and other official documents which are mandatory for the marketing of these elements.
In order to meet this requirement, VD-INDUSTRY created the brand PYROTEK.

The development of the brand PYROTEK allowed VD-INDUSTRY to be the first European company to be profited from certifications :
– NF 277 Door fire-resistant for France
– AEAI for Switzerland
– Benor ATG for Belgium
– ÜG (Überwachungsgemeinschaft) for Germany
– UL for US / Canada
